Portrait/Fine artist Elizabeth W. Schott, Beth, is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, who received her BFA in Fine Arts and Education from Emory and Henry College in the arts-rich community of Abingdon, Virginia. While attending E&H she participated her sophomore and senior years in the Roman Art and Archaeology January study program in Rome, Italy.

Beth also studied Appalachian crafts and pottery at Virginia Intermont. She attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati for sculpture, then completed her postgraduate work in Advertising Design at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

Elizabeth has continued her studies with Robert Liberace, Joy Thomas, William Whitaker, Marvin Mattelson and Tim Tyler.

Elizabeth is a juried member of the Pastel Society of America and the Cincinnati Art Club. She is also a member of the Portrait Society of America and A Stroke of Genius Portrait artist, and appeared recently in "International Artist" magazine.

In 2005, she was honored to be chosen as one of the artist to participate in the exhibit "Faces of the 'Fallen", in a tribute to fallen soldiers from Afghanistan and Iraq.
